Learning Environment

Siena College is a learning community. The learning environment is a challenging and rigorous one where every student is encouraged and supported to explore and develop her potential.

Siena College provides a technology-rich learning environment with a wireless network throughout and excellent access to both fixed and portable technologies. Four computer laboratories, mobile laptop sets and data projectors installed in the classrooms allow the seamless and effective integration of ICT into the curriculum. Studies in the area of Visual Arts and Design are enhanced through access to iMAC computers and the latest industry standard software. Teachers are provided with a laptop and remote access to the College Intranet and email are available to members of the College community. A well-resourced ICT Help Centre provides excellent on-site support. In 2012, the College will introduce iPADs at Years 9 and 11 further enriching the learning program.
