Each year, final year secondary students have the opportunity to apply for cadetships with a number of Australian and international accounting firms. Cadetships and Traineeships involve working full time for two years at a firm while a student studies their university degree part time.

When Samantha Bui started her Bachelor of Science she had probably never heard of parasitic sea lice, and she had never visited Norway. By the end of her Bachelor of Science, Samantha chose to major in Marine Biology and is continuing her studies in a Master of Science where she is collaborating with research partners in Norway to help Atlantic salmon fight sea lice.

CSIRO offers work experience placements to students from Australian high schools in Years 10, 11 and 12 who are interested in science. Applications for the 2013 Work Experience Program will be open for a month from Friday 1 March 2013. Interested in Geography, Maths, Science or the outdoors? Why not try out Work Experience at a Surveying company.

As a new academic year begins, students and parents are reminded that our school is involved with the ATO Schools Tax File Education Program. The main aim of this program is to provide the students with an efficient and convenient service for them to apply for their tax file numbers.
