We are very excited to welcome you to our production of Chicago: High School Edition!
After our auditions and casting at the end of 2022, the cast and orchestra have been involved in rehearsals from the first week of Term 1 this year; giving up time after school, on weekends and during the school holidays. For many of our students, this has been their very first experience in a musical, and it has been wonderful to see their learning through this process. It is with much excitement that we have arrived at our Production Week, and we are thrilled to welcome audiences to our performances.
It has been fantastic to work with the students and staff at St Kevin’s College in our first musical collaboration. Students from both schools have been absolutely phenomenal, bringing so much energy and dedication to the show from our first rehearsal in February and throughout the rehearsal process. It has been wonderful to see the efforts of the talented musicians, actors and crew members come together over the final weeks.
This production would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many people. We thank everyone who has been involved in bringing this production to life, in particular, the Leadership Teams and staff of both Siena College and St Kevin’s College, and of course our phenomenal Production Team, who have worked tirelessly to bring the show together. We are also grateful to our students’ families who have been unwavering in their support.
We are delighted to present our production of Chicago and we hope you enjoy the performance as much as we have enjoyed putting it together!
