From the Principal

I am delighted to report that our first ever 24 Hour Giving Day was a huge success.  Due to the overwhelming generosity of our community, our initial target of $80,000 was surpassed and we recorded a final tally of $111,326.

I take this opportunity to thank Tracey Grobbelaar and our Development team for coordinating an inspiring fundraising campaign.  Thank you also to Bronwyn Ilott, Minna Denholm and our Heads of Student Wellbeing for supporting the student led fundraising activities, and to all staff who set up the Operations Room, manned phones, donated and supported the campaign in so many ways.  It was heartwarming to read some of the lovely comments on the Charidy site as the donations flowed in throughout the day.

We will now be able to offer the gift of a Siena education to more indigenous students and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.  Please enjoy reading the remainder of the newsletter and looking through the many images from our Giving Day.
