Antonio de Montesinos Public Speaking Award

For a number of years now, Siena College has held the annual Antonio de Montesinos Public Speaking Award competition, which encourages girls to prepare and deliver a speech on a topic that they feel is important. Each year, the speech topics are linked to the College theme, which in 2019 is Called by Name.  Our 2019 winner is Charlotte Lang (Year 7) whose prepared speech was titled 'Take Action'.  The Encouragement Award was awarded to Adrienne Duray (Year 11), whose speech was titled 'Is Australia racist?'.

Congratulations to our other entrants, Mia Horozidis and Amanda Marasco who also delivered strong, well researched speeches.
