On Friday, 15 November we welcomed one hundred and thirty excited Grade 6 students for their Orientation Day. The day began with an assembly led by our 2020 College Captains, Adrienne Duray and Laura Griss. The Grade 6 students were then allocated to their Houses where they met their Heads of Student Wellbeing for the first time. The girls spent the day in these groups so they could begin to make valuable connections to one another. We hope that these connections will become strong friendships throughout their individual journeys at Siena over the next six years.
The girls became better acquainted with one another while completing various activities in their Houses over the course of the morning. They were then introduced to some of the many cocurricular opportunities as current Year 7 students provided assistance, sharing their learnings from this year with the Grade 6 students whilst acting as tour guides.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming these young women into our Siena community in 2020.
