Annual Appeal 2020

“I was hungry and you gave me food,.. I was a stranger and you made me welcome." (Mt:25: 35)

For the last seven years and with the outstanding generosity of the St Dominic’s community we have been able to make a significant difference to the lives of refugees and people seeking asylum from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Pakistan.

Our annual parish appeal starts this week. It will allow the St Dominic’s community to continue to make a difference to the lives of these vulnerable people in so many ways. We provide friendship and social inclusivity and with your generosity we can also provide invaluable financial support for dignified accommodation and assistance with the costs of living for the interim time until they can provide for them selves

As a passionate group of volunteers, we feel committed to working on your behalf and every dollar donated is used to support of these people seeking asylum and refugees.

We thank you for your support and donations in the past and would like to offer you these donation options for continued support.

These can be returned to the basket at the parish office.

Donations are Tax Deductible. Receipts will be issued through Catholic Care.

Yours in gratitude and friendship,

Peter Charles (Welcoming the Stranger Committee)
