The Position
Siena College, Camberwell, seeks to appoint an exceptional and visionary educator to the position of Principal/CEO, commencing in January 2026. This significant appointment follows the outstanding leadership of Elizabeth Hanney and presents an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant, faith-filled community with a proud Dominican tradition.
Reporting to the Siena College Board, the Principal/CEO will provide strategic and inspirational leadership, building on the College’s strong foundations and guiding its next chapter of growth and innovation. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing executive team, championing a culture of academic achievement, wellbeing and faith formation. With a focus on contemporary and challenging learning, the Principal will ensure the ongoing professional growth of staff and the continued development of a welcoming and inclusive community.
With a proven record of educational and strategic leadership in a complex school environment, the appointee will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, business acumen, and the ability to inspire confidence and engagement across a diverse community. A collaborative, visible, and relational leadership style, combined with a passion for innovation and a future-focused outlook, will be essential to success in this role. The ideal candidate will be a practising Catholic and accomplished educator, with a deep commitment to girls’ education and the Catholic faith, and a genuine desire to embrace and promote the Dominican ethos.
