The Camp Program at Siena College aims to develop self-discipline and resilience and to enhance relationships within each year level.
The three day Year 7 camp is held at the end of Term 1 at Lord Somers Camp. Students are grouped in Houses to consolidate and develop new friendships and to challenge each other in a range of outdoor activities. Activities include surfing, stand up paddle boarding and screen printing.
While not camping out, the Year 9 Siena in the Interconnected City program, enables students to develop their independence by exploring the City of Melbourne in small work groups. Each group develops a hypothesis about the city, which they have to research and present their findings on.
