    A Lenten Beginning Rooted in Prayer, Service and Compassion

    In the spirit of the 2026 Project Compassion theme, Unite Against Poverty, Waratah House continued their fundraising efforts with a Shrove Tuesday pancake stall, raising funds to support those in need. This was followed by student-led Ash Wednesday prayer services, where Siena College staff and students gathered in their Houses to mark the beginning of Lent.

    Waratah Unites Against Poverty with Project Compassion

    Thank you to the Siena community for your incredible generosity and support of Waratah’s Zooper Dooper sale. The funds raised will go directly to Caritas Australia’s 2026 Project Compassion, helping to address extreme poverty, injustice and the ongoing hardship faced by marginalised members of our global community.     Siena Community Gathers for Opening Mass and Student Leadership Induction

    This morning, Siena College staff and students gathered at St Dominic's Catholic Church, Camberwell to celebrate the commencement of the 2026 academic year with Mass. Following a thoughtful homily by celebrant, Fr Paul Rankin OP we formally inducted our 2026 Student Leaders into their roles. Special thanks to our talented student musicians whose contributions enriched the celebration.
