In the spirit of the 2026 Project Compassion theme, Unite Against Poverty, Waratah House continued their fundraising efforts with a Shrove Tuesday pancake stall, raising funds to support those in need. This was followed by student-led Ash Wednesday prayer services, where Siena College staff and students gathered in their Houses to mark the beginning of Lent.

The funds raised will go directly to Caritas Australia’s 2026 Project Compassion, helping to address extreme poverty, injustice and the ongoing hardship faced by marginalised members of our global community.
