Our Year 7 to 9 Chinese language students recently immersed themselves in a rich and vibrant Chinese Cultural Day experience. They learned the basics of traditional Chinese calligraphy and created their own brush paintings, dressed in traditional Hanfu clothing from various dynasties, and took part in a Chinese tea ceremony where they tasted jasmine tea. Students also tried their hand at the Chinese shuttlecock game and concluded the day by learning and performing a short Chinese fan dance. It was a wonderful celebration of culture, creativity and community!
