The 2026 Women in STEM Breakfast welcomed students and families to hear from an accomplished panel of STEM professionals: Simona Juzmeska, Forensic Biologist with Victoria Police; Shravanti Joshi, Automation Lead at Judo Bank; Chantel Lim, Head of Strategy in Public and Global Health at the Doherty Institute; and past Siena parent Andrea Van Unen-Smith, Chief Marketing Officer at Senetas.
With Subject Selection approaching in Term 3, the breakfast provided timely guidance and encouragement for students considering future study and career pathways in STEM. Each speaker shared insights into their career journey, day-to-day responsibilities, and the challenges and experiences that have shaped their success. Simona also offered a fascinating perspective on the role of STEM in forensic investigations within Victoria Police. Thank you to our guest speakers for generously sharing their expertise and experiences!
