Year 12 students recently completed a VO₂ max test, a key measure of aerobic fitness and endurance performance, helping them identify strengths and areas for improvement while exploring personalised training zones. Meanwhile Year 10 Sports Science students took part in practical fitness testing, measuring components including speed, agility, power, strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination. They analysed their results to develop a deeper understanding of the factors that influence sporting performance.
These experiences reflect students’ continued hands-on engagement in fitness and performance learning within Health and Physical Education.
