Year 9 Mathematics students attended a coding session delivered by Monash DeepNeuron, a student-led multi-faculty research organisation from Monash University. The session focused on programming, highlighting its importance as the foundation of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students had the opportunity to explore how AI and high-performance computing can be used to benefit society, and this session introduced students to the crossover between coding and mathematics.
Thank you to Siena alumna, Audrey Phommasone (Class of 2021), who is part of the executive team at Monash DeepNeuron, for helping make this opportunity possible.
