During Horizons Week, our Year 9s took part in Siena in the City – a vibrant three-day program exploring Melbourne through the lens of Humanities, Languages, Arts and Social Justice. Students visited the National Gallery of Victoria, Old Melbourne Gaol, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Parliament House, the Shrine of Remembrance and Queen Victoria Market. They also experienced a live Court Room Drama and learned about social enterprise through The Big Issue Australia, gaining a deeper understanding of Melbourne’s cultural and civic life.
Our Year 11s also explored future pathways through visits to Deakin University, The University of Melbourne, RMIT University, Australian Catholic University and Swinburne University of Technology. Students attended workshops aligned with their interests, giving them valuable insight into potential areas of study and university learning environments.
