Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week. The 2025 theme, Bridging Now to Next highlights the ongoing connection between our past, present and future. Throughout the week, Veritas student leaders and the Student Representative Council will lead a series of lunchtime initiatives to encourage reflection and engagement from the whole community.
One such initiative already underway is the relocation of Bunjil’s Nest, a sculpture installation that was originally located outside the St Catherine's Centre. Created during Siena College’s 75th Anniversary, it has now found a new home near the West Wing. As we celebrate our 85th Anniversary, this is a fitting moment to reflect on and honour the significance of this meaningful installation.
