Congratulations to Grace K and Sienna W (Year 7), Eleanor J (Year 8), and Loshaya J and Claire R (Year 9), who won gold after competing in the Victorian Middle Ethics Olympiad against over twenty teams from thirteen schools across the state. Competing via Zoom, the students participated in four heats throughout the full-day event, working together to broaden their perspectives, engage in respectful discourse with other teams, and develop the best possible answers to complex ethical questions.
Well done also to the broader Siena Ethics team comprising twenty students, who attended weekly training sessions in Semester 2. Through these sessions, students learned different ethical frameworks that guided their decision-making on thought-provoking moral issues.
We look forward to cheering on the Siena Ethics team at the Middle School Ethics Olympiad International Final, which will be held in February 2026!
