Siena’s Night of Jazz at Box Hill Town Hall showcased a lively program of ensemble works, solo performances and special collaborations, with acclaimed guest artist Andy McGarvie joining our student soloists – working with them in rehearsal to share his expertise and inspire their best performances.
Ensembles performing on the night included Stage Band, Sisters of Swing, Groove Train, Canti Dolci and Guitar Ensemble, each delivering engaging performances that reflected their artistry and musicianship.
Congratulations to the Siena Jazz Prize recipients, Sienna F and Hannah C. This award recognises students who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to the development of their jazz musicianship, strong leadership within their ensembles and consistent contribution to the success of their group performances.
