In Year 9 Fashion, students explored sustainability in the fashion industry. Through research into endangered animals and their habitats, they designed and created wool felt panels. Meanwhile, Year 9 Silk students drew inspiration from nature, studying landscapes and translating their observations into Gutta resist designs on Habotai silk. Each piece is a unique celebration of the natural world, showcasing vibrant colour, pattern and technique.

Year 11 Art Creative Practice students examined the work of Dutch Renaissance artist Rembrandt van Rijn, focusing particularly on his masterful use of 'chiaroscuro'. By analysing this technique, students learned to create depth and intensity in their own self-portraits, using light and shadow to heighten emotional impact and visual drama.
