As an integral component of the Thomas Aquinas Extension Program, students across year levels engaged in enriching academic challenges. The Year 8 and 9 Advanced Mathematics classes participated in the virtual Kangourou sans Frontières Maths Competition, the largest mathematics competition in the world with over six million participants annually.
Meanwhile, Alex L, Lilou A and Maleesha W (Year 11), along with Kristen K and Mia H (Year 10), represented Siena College in the Senior School Ethics Olympiad, competing against fifteen schools from across Victoria via Zoom. Throughout the day, students demonstrated excellent teamwork and received high praise from moderators for their ability to engage in respectful dialogue and present well-reasoned arguments on a range of moral issues.
