Year 8 French students recently embarked on a cultural journey at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). Collaborating closely with NGV's Education Department and the Alliance Française de Melbourne, the students were in for a treat with the Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi Exhibition.
The impact of Bonnard on French culture and national identity was thoughtfully analysed, fostering a deep understanding of artistic influence. The Bonjour France Immersion also allowed them to interpret and analyse French artworks and design across various times and contexts.
All students participated wholeheartedly, making the experience truly enriching and memorable. Bravo to all involved!
