Nine Year 8 Italian students recently represented Siena College at the VATI Performing Arts Competition, held at the CO.AS.IT. Conference Centre. Taking to the stage, they performed a creative reimagining of Luigi Pirandello’s Sei personaggi in cerca d’autore (Six Characters in Search of an Author), captivating the audience with their expressive characters, confident stage presence and impressive Italian fluency, earning plenty of laughter and applause.
Earlier in the day, students enjoyed a magic show performed entirely in Italian, before rounding out the experience with authentic Italian cuisine and a stroll through the vibrant streets of Carlton’s 'Little Italy'.
