"During Italian class, we have been learning about Italian history and culture. We have investigated specifically the different attitudes and behaviours of Italians from the Northern and Southern regions. We recently watched the film, Benvenuti al Sud which displays the Northern and Southern Italian stereotypes and their rivalry towards one another.
Recently, we enjoyed the task of re enacting an interview between Northern and Southern Italians for a made up TV show. The interviewer asked guests questions about the Northern and Southern Italian stereotypes, and questioned if they were true or false. Each of us have thoroughly enjoyed learning about this unit in Italian, deepening our knowledge on the Italian culture."
