Twenty-five Year 9 Italian and Music students visited the Carmelite Monastery in Kew yesterday, in preparation for their upcoming Dominican Immersion to Italy. Carmelite Sisters, Sr Marie Rose and Sr Maria gave our students a rich history lesson on the Carmelites, including a tour of the picturesque Monastery. The Immersion will offer our students a unique chance to gain in-depth knowledge on Italian history, culture, art and cuisine, as well as develop their language skills and intercultural competence, in conjunction with the Carmelite Sisters' 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Italy.Thank you Sr Marie Rose and Sr Maria for your wonderful hospitality yesterday.
